I'm working on a non-fiction project called Bohemian Forgiveness: Five Unconventional Paths to Forgiving What You'll Never Forget. There's not much to see on the Facebook page for now but it will come, and I'll be sure to keep you posted.

Hello! Hello! It's been a while since I last blogged. Some days after work I intend to blog but then my son says, "Hey Mom, wanna watch a movie?" He's the last of three sons and recently graduated from high school. He won't be with me much longer. My answer is always yes. I tell myself I'll write tomorrow. And then the dog gets sick, or the car overheats. Life happens. It's life. And I love that you get that your life does not depend on how many times I blog. Your life depends on your personal revelation of a loving Father who is "vitally interested and invested in each one of us." I love you for this. You are my tribe.
"God is vitally interested and invested in you." This Father's Day I pray you will explore this beautiful statement I came across in Living The Lord's Prayer by Albert Hasse, O.F.M. A simple and yet powerful statement that filled me with hope on the heels of recent disappointment. The take away for me is that the love of God is unfailing even when relationships must end.
The prayers I pray for healing. The efforts I make to reconcile. The forgiveness I offer to a loved one and hope to receive in turn. None of this goes unseen by my loving Father who is vitally interested and invested in the hearts of His children.
Is it difficult to imagine a father who would express an interest in you? A father who would invest in you? I encourage you this Father's Day to explore how your answer affects your ability to offer a personal trust in God that stretches beyond statements of faith. In other words, do you truly feel valuable and valued in God's eyes? Why or why not?
You are not alone. We get better together.
