April is Child Abuse Prevention & Sexual Assault Awareness Month
We must protect God's little ones.

April 4

Only 7% are strangers.

Today, I'm sharing staticss from RAINN www.rainn.org I encourage you to visit their website. And then I'll share my thoughts on Monday. 

Among cases of child sexual abuse reported to law enforcement:

93% are known to the victim

  • 7% are strangers
  • 59% are acquaintances
  • 34% are family members


Monday, I'll share one of the greatest gifts you can give your child to safeguard them from abuse. Something practical I learned in group therapy many years ago.
