Today, we wrap the three-week series Behind Closed Doors, with a gentle heart's cry for lasting change in the inner-man (or in our case inner-woman):

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, prayed that the eyes of our hearts would be enlightened, and we would receive the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ. My eyes have indeed been opened throughout this series. What I see about myself hurts. I invite your unfailing love into the core of my pain. Free me from harmful reactions to the harmful acts that were once inflicted upon me. In faith, I receive the grace to yield to the pace you have set for this journey. For you are with me every step of the way. May my life bear faithful witness to the promise that where your spirit resides there is liberty. Amen.

You will show me the path of life; in your presence there if fullness of joy; in your right hand are pleasures for evermore (Psalm 16:11).
